About Dr. Jan Zemplenyi - Cosmetic Surgeon - Plastic Surgeon
Dr.
Jan Zemplenyi is double board certified by the
American Board of
Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and by the
American Board of
Otolaryngology. He is the president and director of the Bel-Red
Center for Aesthetic Surgery, P.S. - a facility dedicated to providing
the highest level of care. Dr. Zemplenyi maintains privileges at
Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Washington.
He obtained an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the
University of California at Los Angeles, graduating Magna Cum Laude and
Phi Beta Kappa. He
received his medical degree with high honors from the University of
California at San Francisco. Upon his return to UCLA, he completed a
six-year residency in otolaryngology/head & neck surgery, which was then
followed by a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at
the Lasky Clinic in Beverly Hills.
Dr. Zemplenyi is a Fellow of the
American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery,
Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Fellow of the American
Academy of Otolaryngology & Head/Neck Surgery, member of the American
Society of Liposuction Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic
Surgery. He served as the President of the Northwest Academy of
Otolaryngology, Northwest Society of Cosmetic Surgery, and he is an
active member of
Washington State Medical Association, King County Medical Society,
member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society, and a clinical
instructor at the University of Washington.
He donates his services as a Cosmetic Surgeon and Plastic Surgeon to the free treatment program of victims
under the National Domestic Violence Project. In order to keep up with
the latest techniques, Dr. Zemplenyi frequently attends conferences and
courses, related to Cosmetic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, etc., in various cities throughout the United States. He is also a
provider in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
