Cancerous Lesions of the Skin Excision / Reconstruction

As a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Zemplenyi performs repairs of skin and soft tissue defects following excision of various skin cancers. These skin cancers (basal cell, squamous cell and superficial melanomas) are either excised primarily by Dr. Zemplenyi or they may have been previously removed by a colleague dermatologic micrographic (MOHS) surgeon, and then the patient is referred for reconstruction to a plastic surgeon.  Dr. Zemplenyi also treats smaller cancers of the oral cavity, throat and neck. All levels of anesthesia are available at our center making such treatments convenient and comfortable for our patients.
